National Enterprise Challenge Finalists

Congratulations to Laria (Project Leader), Francesca, Louise, Alice and Cora who have just been announced as Finalists in the UK’s largest school’s enterprise and employability competition. A huge achievement with over 18,000 young people taking part.

Their concept is a new app ‘Not Alone’ designed with the realisation that there has been a vast increase in mental health issues and hospital admissions over the past 5 years between the ages of 11 and 25. Their concept is as a service through an app for teenagers struggling to get help. They aim to communicate in a straight forward manner, being respectively, compassionate and empathetic to anyone that needs help.

Judge Theo Paphitis remarked:
“Pitching isn’t easy, but it’s a fantastic opportunity…Some of the best pitches I have ever seen on The National Enterprise Challenge…have been even better than the ones I saw in the den!”

The National Enterprise Challenge – The UK’s Largest Enterprise Challenge – Provides students aged 11–15 with a real-life business challenge set by some of Britain’s best-known companies and brands.
