ARTiculation is a national and international public speaking initiative, championing the appreciation and discussion of art. Congratulations to Alma who gave an excellent delivery of her talk on Martha Rosler’s ‘Semiotics of the Kitchen’ presented via zoom.
Professor Craig of University of Oxford, thanked all speakers for an extremely stimulating and enjoyable morning, stating how the standard of presentations had been extraordinarily high. He praised all speakers for their professionalism, for sticking within the ten minutes, by saying what they had to say within the allocated time effectively and lucidly and for their brilliant use of PowerPoint and images to back up what they were saying.
Adjudicator Professor Clunas additionally praised Alma for her excellent delivery, her pace and for so wonderfully and successfully engaging with the audience. He also congratulated Alma for managing to evoke with great vividness that moment in the 1970s and for not only making her presentation personal but also part of something much larger.
