On Saturday 28 January, we had a wonderful celebration in Sherborne Abbey where a group of girls took the brave step of confirming their faith in Jesus Christ and choosing to follow him in their lives. Bishop Karen Gorham gave an inspiring sermon and ‘confirmed’ them by laying hands on them and praying for the Holy Spirit to help them in their lives. The service was both beautiful and moving and it was lovely to have so many of the girls’ families there with us.
